Digital Shop Floor Management with Visual Shop Floor

Visual Shop Floor maps all functions of digital shop floor management in a fully integrated solution. The existing systems are connected via interfaces and relevant data is collected at a central point. Based on the data, constantly updated key performance indicators (KPIs) are automatically calculated and form the basis for monitoring and supervising the production processes.

Specific functions for the analysis and monitoring of the manufacturing processes as well as for the recording and follow-up of optimization measures are available via 6 user modules. The constant consideration of our customers’ feedback ensures that Visual Shop Floor is geared to practical applications and provides our customers with a competitive advantage through the continuous optimization of the production processes.

WHITEPAPER: Der Wandel vom traditionellen Lean Shopfloor Management zum Digitalen Shopfloor Management in Echtzeit

 

This white paper is written in German and is based on the findings of an ongoing research project of the Smart Mini Factory of the Free University of Bozen entitled “Smart Shopfloor”. It shows which requirements are placed on digital shopfloor management, which advantages are to be expected for industrial production and how the change from traditional to digital shopfloor management can be achieved through automated collection, processing and transparent visualization of production data in real time.
